yea i did. big deal
nobody believes a girl like me would actually go to india
i mean...wut's the fuss abt it
i went there, full stop.
but i sure am glad to be back home
gosh...
that's how bad it actually is
anyway... i went there on the 4th of december. left malaysia at abt 9.55pm but there was a delay of abt 30 mins. there were these dumb ppl who just wouldnt get on the plane and we were told to wait
i felt like they needed a lecture from me!
we reached india at abt 1.00am or so. i was too darn sleepy to even care. but believe me, there were dogs running around in the listen to this INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT! i was like 'can things get any worse than this?'
*the temperature was 20 degrees Celsius.
and i got my ans. it was a yes! we had no domestic flight tickets to get to manglore. there actually were only two remaining tickets but just as we went to buy them the whole system thingy went down. and i heard that bangalore is an IT centre! they took millions of years to fix it!
so we got a cab to drive us to bangalore. we were told it took only 8 hours but it took 13 hours. from 1am to 2pm! and i nearly died during the ride. there were no roads and it seemed never ending and there were no lives around! it was friggin cold and there were no public toilets!!! and according to the driver, this is the only way to get to manglore! even buses used it!
anyway, so we finally reached manipal traumatised. that horrendous ride cost us like 9000 rupees and that donkey driver still had the guts to ask for tips even though we bought him breakfast and offered him lunch too!
we stayed in a comfy hotel where the hot water shower had TIMING!!! there was once i so friggin shivered in the shower i took an hour in there.
anyway forget that. i did experience weird stuff there. i watched the world go by while in manipal and made a few conclusions for my own sake.
and oh... i went shopping. ok shopping there is OK. u get good bargains! and the food; typical indian. u dont get it here. but the milkshakes? no-no!
after spending some time in manipal we went to goa island for two days.
here's how it went...
first, we couldnt get a seat on the train
then, we couldnt get a hotel to stay in just because we were only staying for a night! they rather leave it empty than having us renting it!
and when we finally got one it sucked!
if i had brought my tent along, i rather camp by the road side.
but...
again everything a.k.a. happiness is all about shopping. so yea...
then there was this elephant walking out of nowhere in the streets of goa. i honestly got very excited as it reminded me of thailand. we were at a restaurant at that time. it was way too expensive so we just had a drink each there. i ran out of the restaurant to snap the pic of the elephant. it was with some sami guy wearing an orange outfit with an orange turban. suddenly he was like "let me help u snap ur pic with the elephant."
i stared at him for a few seconds...
"u noe how to use a camera?" i asked in dismay
and he said yes
OMG!! is he really a sami?
so i allowed him to snap our pics with the elephant and he snapped abt 3 or 4 pics altogether. i was more worried he might just run away with the camera. i mean he can take the cam but just leave the memory card with me ait. all my pics are in there.
before we left the next day, the stupid hotel jerks actually cut our power supply. just our room to chase us out! how stupid is that? then one of them came and said "are you done? because we have another customer waiting for the room."
so i was like "another customer? our room? arent u gonna clean it first? arent there any other rooms?" as if they had so many customers!
glad we left actually... i didnt even look at them when we were walking out and they didnt even say goodbye or thank you. what jerks!
then at goa airport, i had a sandwich which cost about RM18! gosh!! that was freaky but tasty...
and at bangalore airport, dont even asked.
i was caught for smuggling drugs! as if i even was! its a whole big story there. just forget it...
