east meets west

that refers to me.

i was browsing thru some pics in fb and i went thru a lot of party pics. it instantly hit me how different we are. i mean the Asian ppl and the western ppl; the way we dress, the way we party, maturity level and stuff. i saw this graduation party pics of some 17yo and i was like 'what the hell! they are so immature for their age.' then i thought, wasnt i like that when i was 17? wasnt that the way i party? wasnt that the way i used to do my hair when i had parties to go to? wasnt that the way i had make up on my face?

then it hit me - i've been in NZ for slightly over 10 weeks now and i've totally changed to adapt to the lifestyle here. i turned 18 here. that means i never had the chance to go clubbing back home. i only started clubbing here. and i'm just too used to it (parties but not the fulll lifestyle of the kiwi ppl if u read my blog before this) here. imagine what will happen to me when i go back home? what sort of drastic reverse culture shock will i have to go thru?

it's gonna be hard for me. i went to this asian pool club last night and saw all the chinese men and i actually laughed at them for looking so ugly and immature. i met this 28yo guy and i thought he was only 15yo! shit. my holiday back in Malaysia is so gonna suck big time. i mixing with all these matured-looking and very mature attitude ppl here it's gonna be hard for me to mix with the ppl back home.

Malaysians love to act cute and act young. all Asians generally act like that. dayum... im so gonna suffer man!
